"Another dream come true: winning a World Cup in the absolute category."

1st place at the 1st World Cup of the season

One of the most unforgettable moments in my career was my first World Cup victory in Myrkdalen. It was an incredibly emotional experience—winning my first-ever World Cup after years of dedication and hard work.

It was a tough event, with tricky weather, muddy terrain, and cold conditions that made everything more challenging. But despite all that, I felt strong throughout the competition.

The quarter-finals went really well—I had great feelings on the bike and felt in control. In the semifinals, I finished 3rd out of 25, which gave me confidence going into the final. I knew it would be a battle, but I was ready to give my best.

In the final, I focused on staying consistent and adapting to the difficult terrain. The sections were demanding, but I managed to keep a good rhythm. When it was all over, I realized I had won. It was an emotional moment—getting my first World Cup victory after so much training and effort.

Myrkdalen was a special race, not just because of the result, but because of the experience itself. The conditions, the competition, and the atmosphere made it a day to remember.

I’m looking forward to more challenges ahead and excited to keep pushing myself
